HOW TO

GET SET UP
AS A CHAMPION

You've been given a Champion Link by your BehaviourOps facilitator. This guide walks you through everything - from opening the link to sending your team's results. No account needed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • The Champion Link sent to you by your facilitator (looks like: behaviourops.co.uk/risk-rally/run?key=…)
  • Your own email address (for receiving the results report)
  • A device to display the QR code to your players - laptop, tablet, or projected screen
  • Players with smartphones to scan and play

Open your Champion Link

Click the link your facilitator sent you. You'll land on the Set Up Your Session screen. No login required.

Name your session and enter your email. Once you're in, share the QR code with your players.

Name your session and enter your email

Enter a session name that identifies your group - e.g. "Leeds Operations - June 2026". This appears on the results report.

Then enter your email. This is where BehaviourOps will send the results when everyone's finished.

Your results are private. Players never see each other's email addresses. Only you (and your programme coordinator) receive the report.

Click "Open My Session"

Hit the big OPEN MY SESSION → button. You'll be taken to your Champion control panel - your private view of the race.

Share the QR code with your players

Your control panel shows a QR code and a 6-character session code. Players scan the QR or visit behaviourops.co.uk/risk-rally/join and type the code.

You can also Copy Link or Copy Code to share in a Teams/Slack chat.

Optional: Click OPEN LIVE RACE DISPLAY ↗ to open the live leaderboard on a second screen or projector while everyone plays.

Watch players join, then start the race

As players scan and enter a team name, they appear in the lobby counter on the right side of your screen. When everyone is ready, click the big start button.

Don't start too early. Once you click Start, players who haven't joined yet will miss the briefing countdown. Wait until everyone has joined.

The race runs itself

Players answer cybersecurity questions on their own phones. The race track on the big screen (if open) shows live positions. You don't need to do anything - just watch!

Your control panel shows a live count of how many players have finished.

Send the results

Once players are done, click SEND RESULTS NOW → at the bottom of your screen. A full results report lands in your inbox within seconds.
